You are an illuminating scene

sighted from afar.

Clear and distinct,

Standing firm in my part,

Like an acacia in the wild.

Your gaze is like that of the owl,

Penetrating deep into my soul.

I was drawn to you like a bee would

to a pollen grain.

Eager to stand 20cm to you,

I started walking close,

With each step of my foot making a

print on the ground.

Closer and closer and almost to

closest,

You held hands with the air,and flew

away,

Away, away into space.

You disappeared,

Like a mist - here now but gone

soon.

Now left with just my foot print to

guide me back to where I began.

Maybe I should have stayed afar?
