Inkspired to write between the lines of your lyrical voice which startles me even as I sing your songs,

Inkspired to write a love poem with my passion diluting the words to form little piles at my feet,

A banner of love is bursting with life over our heads as we jiggle to the bells that rouse the sun from sleep,

Inkspired by your laughter that flows from the bellows of your belly, larger than life, larger than our love.

Inkspired to write a love letter lined with fainting letters of illusions and mirages on our roads of love,

Inkspired to write love music magical enough for you to wriggle your waist to the warmness of the dawn,

A flag of hope flying above, calling us to reawaken our love cold and lifeless with the ashes of broken stars,

Inkspired to bleed ink upon the pages of your heart, upon the chapters of your soul with my bloody hands.

When the storms separate my soul from my body,

Dark spirits lurking at the corners of my heart,

Prickly pearly drops of water drowning me whole,

I do not stand a chance with my demons haunting me.

The demons in white garments sucking my blood,

Causing storms in my teacups, also stirring them,

Here I am laying down with my back on my storms,

With crystal balls bouncing on my bones relentlessly.

I bathed in these seas of sorrows and broken dreams,

Downing my days daily with destructive drizzles,

Possibly I will make a comeback from the dead,

The storms will cease and the sun will shine likewise.

I am nothing but a broken vase.

flexible fingers forged out of stones,

I am already broken, I'm like a fragile flower freed to fade away with the sun's eyes on it,

You can break me into brittles and bring me back to life with your brush pink with paint,

And your sky-blue hazy eyes bright with the morning sunflowers flooding your mother's garden.

We bleed the same, you and I, but your heart never cared enough to search me afresh,

I am broken with ashes of my unborn stars staring right into my soul as if to shine again,

I could slit my wrists with the words that opened your thoughts when your sights scorn me,

And truly I didn't shoot my love at you, you chose to love a broken vase, you chose the gun yourself.

Does she know we bleed the same?

But she is afraid of the chemicals in her brain,

She is an incredible collection of atoms,

Scared to fall into the same sea that drowned her,

Scarred to go outside and look at love with fresh eyes.

Does she know her scars are perfect?

She was broken by love, I desire her broken spirit,

I'm not trying to fix her elegant scars for myself,

Now that these feel-good chemicals have vanished,

I see the flashes of who she used to be on her face.

Does she know she is like the sea?

She sticks her fins out while she swims,

She knows love is nothing but a chemical reaction,

Beyond the horizons of arched ellipses and nights,

Her kisses meet with the moon to form a defense,

Against all odds, against all heartbreaks she faces.

Does she know she is a galaxy of stars?

When she rises and falls with the tide of the sea,

I love the abyss that threatens to burst out of her soul,

I'm not trying to spill my lights into her twilights,

I love her with all her dark sides sprinkled with stars.

I've been down with a disease for a while now,

It has crawled into my heart and bit me hard,

I've been climbing the bridges of commotion now,

I have the signs and symptoms written all over me,

I've been infected with what I feared the most.

"Remember that love is a disease", I say to myself,

Every day the day yawns and goes to sleep,

I reminded myself each waking hour about it,

My eyes are glued to the pages of lovely poems,

The sparkles in my soul burst out and dazzle even me.

The moon feels feverish at the sight of my sparkles,

These sparkles blossoming flowers inside me,

Just for today, I will bask in the lanterns of love,

Maybe they will light up my lanes of indecision,

Maybe I will heal and go back to being my normal self.

How did this happen? "I kept mumbling to myself",

I've fallen again into an abyss of gloating gloom,

This darkness would hunt and kill me with deceptions,

Maybe I should not fight but allow it to overwhelm me,

Maybe I should just embrace this undesirable feeling.
